Is the Balanced Literacy approach the same as Comprehensive Literacy? This session will explore the varied shades of meaning within these frameworks and will address common misconceptions. Participants will develop an understanding of how best practices in literacy instruction begins with a strong framework to ensure that all students K-12 have access to, and the vast majority of our students have success with, universal core literacy instruction.
